We call meeting of this Takakura group storehouse (burigura)

Amami type Takakura is Takakura (storehouse to store cereals) seen in Amami Islands and the Tokara Islands except Yoron Island. Incline of roof is more sudden than Okinawa model, and slope of wall is near approximately horizontally, and points where plane is near square as for the pillar thickly again are characteristics. It was located near loser of village or the fields, and Takakura used together, but in late years it was owned by individual and came to be made in mansion. Group storehouse (burigura) is left with old figure now in Yamato-son of Amami Oshima.
